Mega-open Houses

Whenever we list a new property we make a concerted effort to engage the community and create a sense of excitement surrounding the debut. Our goal is to reach out to the backlog of buyers in the market, while also attracting the new buyers just entering their home search, to create a buzz that will hopefully motivate buyers to take action and possibly create a multiple offer situation. One of the ways we do this is by having a Mega-Open House that is fully catered, features live entertainment and may even offer a give-away like an iPad or Seahawks tickets perhaps.
This isn’t all though… leading up to the event, flyers or postcards are printed and distributed to the neighborhood inviting them to the event. An online blitz is created via social media, blogging and normal real estate websites such as the MLS. Instead of just putting out a few signs leading traffic to the home we put out 12 or more with balloons attached.Typically, a lender is also present to pre-qualify prospective buyers who might be ready to make an offer.
