Enatai

Enatai, WA is an upscale waterfront neighborhood found along the shores of Lake Washington, on the western edge of the city of Bellevue. Called a “quiet town within a city”, Enatai boasts a small town feel while being only eight minutes away from Downtown Bellevue and around 15 minutes from Seattle.

“Enatai” is a Native American term for “beyond” or “across the water”. The neighborhood was named after a ferry that transported passengers to and from neighboring Mercer Island across Lake Washington before the construction of the I-90 and SR520 bridges.

Through Bellevue’s urbanization over the years, Enatai has maintained its somewhat rural feel, with wide open spaces, lush parks, and a waterfront lifestyle defining the community. It has a population of only around 2,286, many of whom have lived here all their lives.

With everything it has to offer, it’s easy to see why residents find it hard to leave. Enatai is a refreshing, family-friendly haven that provides a genuine sense of community along with all the conveniences of the big city.
